Week Ending 4.19.24

Well, we took a short break from posting progress online. But we were certainly busy behind the scenes, working on the following:

  • Sprint plans to ensure development stays on track for 6-month plan.
  • Art for In-Game Items.
  • Crowdfunding Campaign Video.

We are getting ready to set up the campaign and the link will be shared on the “Join Our Community” page.

Week Ending 1.19.24

Testing is still under way, but we have been able to complete resource production, gathering, troop training, and battles!

Week Ending 1.12.24

The developers completed the 3rd build for testing. We will be verifying everything is up to par.

Week Ending 12.29.23

The developers have been working on the battle plan and formula to verify results will calculate as expected. They are working on the third prototype accordingly.

Week Ending 12.22.23

Developers and artists made adjustments to some of the design and functionality from the feedback of the design team.

We met to discuss the first layer of battle mechanics for a player vs player battle.

Week Ending 12.15.23

The artists have been working on equipment designs. Each one is based on medieval clothing and armor worn in the past.

The developers completed the second sprint and released the updated prototype for the game showcasing function of the military base, resource tiles, and gathering. 

Week Ending 12.8.23

The art team is working on the loading page and the user interface to make sure the functionality works for the player and the art is appealing.

Week Ending 12.1.23

The developers finished the first working prototype of the game. This version was the initial foundation laid a few key features including transitioning from town to map and beginning construction of buildings.

Week ending 11.24.23

The development team is working on the first demo version with the basic functionality. We are looking forward to testing it out!

Week ending 11.17.23

The art team is working on the overall town layout and viewpoint (perspective) for the player. We are lining up the locations for each building plot. 

The developer team is working on the foundation of the code and arrangement of the assets. They are also working on the user interface.

Week ending 11.10.23

The art team is continuing their progress with the art for the town buildings and the map of the kingdom. We are in review of several game assets to use.

Week ending 11.3.23

The food farm, lumber mill, and stone quarry are under way. The 3D modeler is setting up the buildings to match the desired medieval look.

Week ending 10.27.23

The art team is working on the environment where your town will reside (and where you’ll find other players to fight). Some of the buildings are beginning to develop on the map.

Week ending 10.20.23

At this point, 2 heroes have been drawn by our art team. One of these heroes focuses on economic boosts while the other focuses on combat.
